2 times EVA foam material formula:
The EVA foam formula is composed of the following raw materials: main material, filler, foaming agent, bridging agent, foam accelerator, lubricant.
Obviously, the main material is EVA. Of course, in order to improve the physical properties of the product, some other materials can be added appropriately, such as rubber, POE, etc., and even a little TPR can be added to strengthen some physical properties. EVA, the main index is VA content, its level is directly related to almost all performances of EVA foamed products. Of course, some foams can be foamed only with PE. The specific main material to be used depends on the requirements of the product.
Addition of auxiliary materials in EVA material foaming formula:
The excipients that can be added to the EVA formula are very miscellaneous. Here are a few main types:
1. Leftovers. Leftovers are the excess tails and strips after making products. They have been foamed. Such things are cost killers, and they can greatly reduce production costs. Of course, they can also It will have an impact on physical performance. Almost all of these EVAs are used, so I won't go into details.
2. Antistatic agent Some products require antistatic function, and EVA foam products themselves have strong static electricity, so some antistatic agents need to be added to the formula. Generally, the antistatic agents used in EVA are mixtures. The specific ingredient MS is very complicated, and I can't tell clearly at the moment, the dosage is 3%-5%.
3. Flame retardant EVA foam products used as some packaging materials may need to be flame retardant. Flame retardants can be added to the formula to achieve flame retardant effects. There is a product in Japan that has a very good flame retardant effect, but it does not meet the ROHS directive .So in a word, Guan Zong, I don't have a lot of solutions for those with high requirements for flame retardancy.
4. The foaming process of the quick-cooking agent EVA takes time. If you want to increase the daily output and reduce the energy consumption of the product, you can add a quick-cooking agent to shorten the time required for foaming. The most common fast-cooking agent on the market is TAIC, this thing should be exactly a bridging aid. Adding an appropriate amount of TAIC can indeed shorten the time, but with its addition, the size of the product will also be reduced accordingly, and the time-shortening effect is not very ideal. Fujian I I don’t know, but now there are several places in Guangdong that use another quick-curing agent. The amount of addition is small, and the time-shortening effect is quite considerable. (Let’s say quietly, I leaked this quick-curing agent.) l5 coloring agent Foaming products are generally colored, so colorants need to be added to the formula to color. EVA foaming products can be colored with toner, color glue, and of course it is best to use masterbatch. MS products cannot be used on computers. The color matching may be because the color of this thing changes too much before and after foaming.
The development trend of EVA foam materials:
The production and application of EVA foam materials in China started relatively late, but due to the excellent processing performance and wide application of the products, the demand has grown rapidly in recent years, and the market is currently in the growth stage. Although under the impact of the global financial crisis, downstream export demand weakened, the compound annual growth rate of the market from 2006 to 2010 still exceeded 9 percent, and the market size in 2010 exceeded 18 billion yuan.
The rapid growth of the market has attracted many manufacturers to enter the industry. In 2010, there were more than 3,000 enterprises in the Chinese market with the ability to produce EVA foam materials. Most EVA foam material manufacturers are small enterprises with annual sales of less than 10 million yuan The number of large-scale manufacturers is small, and their annual sales are more than 30 million yuan, and the highest is hundreds of millions. The degree is not high. Benefiting from the stable development of China's manufacturing industry, the improvement of requirements and profits brought about by the upgrading of downstream industries, and the development of broader application fields, it is expected that China's EVA foam material market will maintain rapid growth. From 2010, the compound annual growth rate will exceed 10 percent, and the market size will reach 30 billion yuan by 2015.
